Solar for Technicians - Basic Level

This training is given to the target group of the beginning solar installer. The training is given at the Solar Campus, where facilities are available for theoretical and practical education.

After the training, the beginning solar technician will:

• Have a basic understanding of energy and electricity
• Have a basic understanding of the solar home system and its components.
• Be conscious about the opportunities and the constraints of the system.
• Be able to install a plug and play solar home system at a client in a decent (high quality) way.
• Be able to do standard after-sales service to the system.
• Be able to identify basic problems and solve them.
• Be able to be customer friendly

The training "Solar for technicians - Basic Level" includes skills of installing, servicing and transfer of knowledge to the end-user

The training consists of three to four days: (1) Basic knowledge, (2) Basic installation skills and (3) Basic Service and Troubleshooting. A forth day to practice all the new skills is optional. For all three parts, attention is given to a customer-friendly attitude.
